To promote use of indigenous construction materials and techniques.

To promote and encourage activities related to research, documentation and conservation of monuments, precincts and other historic structures and technological features.

 

Ecology And Environment

To promote and encourage activities such as reforestation, water harvesting and conservation of natural resources and wildlife.

To undertake activities of research, documentation, training and awareness building on energy – efficiency and in promoting use of renewable energy resources.

 

Community

To encourage and facilitate participation of stakeholders and communities in conservation of natural, built and intangible heritage.

To promote and encourage artistic and cultural activities such as local arts and crafts.To provide counselling and educate the community about the significance of natural and built heritage.
